To all LCFB league players, the main rules and information for the league can be found here so please make sure your teamates have a read.

The current set up

- 2 to 3 Saturday games, team registrations at 5 to 7pm at the usual court right next to chalk farm station (later game to finish around 7-8pm)

- 5 to 8 teams

-minimum of 8 games per team and upto 12 games depending on league structure and playoffs qualification

- depending on league structure there will be resting weeks for the teams and the games timetable will be set before the start of the competition

- season starts towards end of september with a good break for christmas (last game on 12/12 and next game on 16/01) so players can rest and no difficult organisation needed over the holiday period in the rush to register for a new basketball season i.e. games/teams already organised to last most of the winter/bad weather, until march

- 1 week's notice on the club's website for unlikely potential changes in the games timetable (gym's policy)

- £50 team fee for each game

- £150 team registration fee for new teams and a lower registration of £100 for teams returning from any previous seasons, this is for 8 guaranteed games (upto 12 games depending on playoffs qualification and number of teams/league structure)

- payment installments : 1st on entering the team (registration + first 3 games i.e. £300 for new teams and £250 for returning teams), 2nd before 14th November (remaining guaranteed games i.e. between 5 and 7 depending on league structure), 3rd for teams qualifying for last 2 games i.e. semi final + 3rd/1st place finals i.e. £100)

- 10 players is a good number to last the whole season through travels and injuries as this usually result in 7-8 players showing to the game which is generally a good number for competition/play time so total costs would work out per player per game for new teams to: £6.25 - £6.9 and for returning teams to: £5.8- £6.25 (depending on number of regular season games)

- great trophy and tee-shirts for the winners (see the website summer 2009 galleries)

- £6 England basketball registration for 2009/2010 needed (those who registered from june 2009 will automatically have their registrations validated for 2009/2010), this is valid all the way until the end of August 2010 (can be used in potential subsequent league seasons)

- 1st installment to be paid as soon as possible to book a team spot (fully refunded if the competition doesn't go ahead or the team can't be accomodated for any reason)

- the competition will not go ahead if there are less than 5 teams or less than 8 guaranteed games per team

- Of course, there is a great after game social scene in this nice area near central London, a super large projected scoreboard, music for players, team bench and fans to really get into the game and the fun atmosphere of the comp, updated website with standings, in-game and after-games social events pictures and videos (browse this website, see the most recent videos in the galleries to get a better idea)

- LCFB is a dynamic club which can help your team find extra players if needed on a temporary basis (i.e. pre EB registered players who can be called in if your need a player at the last minute) but also to build up your permanent team if needed

- Click on " Register my interest " ASAP if you want to be contacted for this season or the following ones -Don't miss out on another great league !!

- Your best bet to be contacted is to recruit a core group of players to enter a team as this can be built upon with free agents
